The Color Story
If you’ve ever been to the West Indies, there are a few things that will always stand out.
Sunshine, tropical breezes, the sweet sounds of soca and reggae music coupled with endless beach days.
But there is something else that you probably noticed while driving through each island…
…Color is everywhere
The houses and buildings are usually decked out in vibrant paint. Cheerful shades of yellow, vivid greens, punchy corals, turquoise and, of course, shades of red and pink. There’s no limit to the color combinations often chosen to make these homes standout against the post card worthy landscapes. This season, Sheila and I found inspiration from the beautiful island where I was born, Montserrat, West Indies.
Inspired by creativity and color
Mix plaids, stripes and solids. Layer different textures and cotton with our amazingly soft alpaca throws to create your own unique color story.
